What was your vision in founding/stepping into leadership at Towne Realty Group?

Our vision was to create a high quality real estate boutique without corporate restraints and with only full-time, experienced professionals who are committed to their local communities and raising the bar in service. Our 25 agents have an average of 16 years of experience with deep roots in their home towns. Focusing on client-centric service, where the customer feels special and appreciated, has made us the go-to office for buyers and sellers who are tired of feeling like a number. Helping our agents build their personal brands and empowering them to be extraordinary has made our team shine.

How has technology, social media and online marketing changed and/or impacted your approach to business?

We embraced social media soon after we opened our doors and have thousands of fans and followers across many platforms. In our many groups and pages on Facebook alone, we have tracked over $50 million in business with referrals being placed all over the world through our network. In 2010, we won an award from Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate for our social media savvy and we have forged lasting friendships and alliances, not to mention won many prizes worth thousands of dollars.

What do you love most about working and living in Short Hills, NJ?

Both of us were born and raised in Millburn Township, where we went to nursery school all the way up to graduation from Millburn High School, which is just down the block from our office. Our families have owned businesses in our downtown for over 100 years combined, and we even named our company after a local pharmacy (Towne Pharmacy) that was owned by Daniel's uncle. Having served on Boards of our local Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society, Paper Mill Playhouse, our school's alumni committee and with Dan's role in government on the Township Committee, we developed a unique insight to our marketplace. We love our home town and still support many organizations, including an annual scholarship fund for high school seniors.

What is your daily "must-do"?

We know that if we take our 'MEDS' every day, we can accomplish anything and withstand economic meltdowns, freak snow storms, fires, hurricanes, floods, power outages and all the impossible hardships that happened since we opened our company. What are meds? Meditation – Exercise – Diet – Sleep. Add a little music, fun, and a walk on the beach with our families and a dog, and we continue to survive and thrive
