YOGA FESTIVAL TAKES OVER TELLURIDE

Since the Telluride Yoga Festival began in 2007, Telluride Properties Managing Partner Albert Roer has had a deep connection with the event, beginning when he and Telluride Properties were the first entity to help sponsor the festival, and continuing today, as Albert became the owner of the Telluride Yoga Center. Celebrating its 7th year in June, the Telluride Yoga Festival, in an intimate mountain retreat setting, features four days of classes, lecturers, gatherings and bliss.

CELEBRITY TRAINER EMPOWERS NEW HAMPSHIRE TOWN

Joe Burns, partner at Country Houses Real Estate in New London, NH, hosted Steve Jordan, a renowned celebrity trainer and motivational speaker based in Los Angeles. “I was lucky enough to meet and befriend Steve Jordan, trainer to the stars, at a recent business conference. His techniques and beliefs have changed my life and motivated me to share my new friend with my community.” Mr. Burns hosted the June event as a way to “pay it forward” to the community, and it was free for all attendees.

PARTNERS TRUST HONORED BY CONCERN FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH

Concern Foundation for cancer research hosted their 40th Annual Block Party on the back-lot of Hollywood’s Paramount Studios in July. Partners Trust was honored, along with actress and cancer survivor Jaclyn Smith, for their charitable works and strong community involvement. This was the first time in its 40 year history that Concern Foundation recognized a company for this honor, and the event raised $1.8 million to support cancer research.

ASPEN HOSTS USA PRO CYCLING CHALLENGE

In August, Aspen was the launch point for the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, Colorado’s largest cycling race. Shane Aspen Real Estate hosted the Peloton Aspen fundraising event, the official kick-off party. The celebration was an intimate evening of mixing and mingling with cycling enthusiasts, pro cyclers, and other notable celebrities. Proceeds benefited the Aspen USA Pro Challenge and the Aspen Hope Center.

SUMMER SIP & STROLL IN ASHEVILLE

Sean McLaughlin of Mountain Oak Properties hosted a weekly Sip 'n Stroll in June and July at the award-winning Flat Rock Playhouse outside Asheville, NC, offering an opportunity for people to enjoy the world-class art and culture of the area. Attendees experienced the perks of living in the mountains as they enjoyed a glass of their favorite red or white wine while strolling in the Flat Rock Playhouse gardens before seeing a show.

CHARITY GALA IN SALT LAKE CITY

The Influence Real Estate team participated in the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Charity Gala 2014 in June, benefiting both The Road Home shelter and The Christmas Box House. The event raise revenue to help families staying in the homeless shelter as well as children who have been brought to the Christmas Box House for their safety, and a new start. More than $35,000 was raised at this year’s Charity Gala.
