Ann shared some insights with Leverage on her career path, personal routines, and overall approach to life and work.

How did you get into real estate?

I love to be around people, especially people from around the world. I love to be happy and share my love for this area. Combining the two, real estate was the best choice for harnessing these passions. I get excited by showing clients around and watching their faces as we explore the area together to find their perfect fit.

What are your daily “must-do(s)”?

My daily routine includes meditating first thing in the morning. Success is inevitable when I center and focus my intentions on what I want to accomplish throughout the day. I then check my calendar and return calls and emails.

Nature is an integral part of my life. In the mornings, I feed my birds and walk my dog along the beautiful woodland trails, sometimes seeing a bear or two. In the evenings, when I wind down, I listen to one podcast on positive thinking and then move on to jazz music. I enjoy dinner with my husband, paired with one of my favorite Bordeaux varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon, produced by a California winery, Caymus.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I spend my free time traveling, baking, and cooking meals for my family. My ultimate pleasure is spending time with my wonderful family and friends. I would not be the person I am today without them. My grandchildren keep me in the know of societal trends.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself or your business?

I love Christmas. I love baking. I love love love Sedona, Arizona. Experiences mean more than materialistic things. I love birds, and I love to travel, but mostly, I love my family and my friends.
