Meet Albert Roer: Managing Partner, Telluride Properties

Working in Telluride, just five steps from the chair lift and gondola to the Mountain Village, in a beautiful office that is set up like a living room, located on the busiest foot traffic corner in town, may be the most ideal place to conduct real estate deals. "People come by all day, to drop their stuff off or hang out, before heading to the mountain. We are the only office in town with floor duty 9-9, seven days a week."

Albert sets the tone for the cooperative work environment of Telluride Properties. "We only hire people we could spend a week on a sailboat with," he says. What is summer like in Telluride?

Albert: The old adage is "I came to ski, but stay for the summers." Telluride is the festival capital of the Rockies, with a festival of note every weekend. Everything from the famous Telluride Film Festival to food, wine, yoga and fitness festivals, make Telluride a summer destination.
